Annoyance Is Good

There’s a mobile game I play during my downtime. It’s an online player vs player game, where you go against another team and try to complete the objective first.

Before the game starts, we’re allowed to pick which character we want to use. There’s a character that I never picked but the enemy team, at times, would. I would always struggle against this character, not because the enemy player is good but because the character’s archetype was difficult to overcome.

I found the character annoying.

So annoying, in fact, that I vowed to never use the character. But I once tried using the character out of curiosity.

And I found using the character enjoyable.

My annoyance led me to choosing a character I enjoy playing, more than any other character in the game.

Here’s my inspiration for the day.
