Researchers at Cornell University estimated that people make over 200 decisions per day on just food alone. If we consider the daily decisions we make outside of food, it would be noticeably bigger.
80% of those decisions are pointless— they won’t affect larger outcomes. The other 20% are the ones that count.
But how can we decipher which ones counts?
If a decision can be made without consequences, it’s miniscule.
If a decision can be decided by artificial intelligence, it’s pointless.
Just now I asked Perplexity if they could give me five different social media management websites and recommend me one.
Perplexity suggested I use Buffer for 5 reasons:
- Easy to use
- Free plan
- Useful features
- Great customer support
- Smooth integration
Instead of researching for 30 minutes on what management tool I should use, artificial intelligence did it for me in 30 seconds with several links as references.
And if I don’t like it?
I’ll try one of the other 4 until I find one that I do.
Make the decisions that count and delegate the rest.
Here’s my inspiration for the day.
