Not for who I am or what I do.
But for just being out and about, for being in public spaces and saying ‘hello’ or ‘good morning.’
This morning, while walking my friend’s dog, I said ‘good morning’ to at least six people, and they replied in kind.
Some said good morning to me before I could.
And being recognized not for who you are or what you do, but for simply being there, is a nice feeling to have.
Say good morning to others, and you’ll be rewarded plentifully.
