Experimental Mindset > Perfectionist Mindset

As I continue studying my role models and learning their flaws and strengths, I realized something:

They valued execution over perfect preparation.

They weren’t known for well-organized their plans were, but instead, how much they executed their plans.

They have had messy workspaces, or written notes scattered around their desks. Still, their focus was on the mission of their work, not the details surrounding it.

And that was where my problem lied: I was focused on the wrong thing.

I thought I needed to have everything organized, not realizing that imperfection was part of my progress.

It helps to be more orgnanized, but if all my thoughts are about the process and not the goal of the process, then I’m just running around in circles, worrying about the right platform and never getting anything done.

Growth lies in ditching the perfectionist mindset.

I must embrace the experimental mindset.
