In many cases, when you put yourself out there and share your interests, people will find you interesting.
Eventually, there will be one or two that are generous enough to share opportunities.
That’s a good thing. You want to be presented with as many opportunities as possible.
But through it all, you must ask yourself: What’s it for?
Unfortunately, many adults have yet to find their North Star, but for those who have found it, consider this:
If those opportunities don’t bring you closer to your North Star, then saying ‘no’ to them will be easier.
That opens up time to focus on the opportunities that deserve a ‘yes.’
