There is the work everyone sees: an article, a job title, a project shared online.
And then there’s the work beneath the work: the reading, the writing, the thinking, the quiet organizing.
One looks impressive, but the other makes the future possible.
I’m more interested in what no one sees. That’s where the real leverage is—slow, unglamorous, foundational.
If I get that part right, the rest will take care of itself.
