There is not much I can do about the happenings of the past, no matter how much of it I would have liked to change.
Yet through it all, I have learned of their accomplishments and failures, their cheers and cries, their shouts and whispers, which have shaped how I engage with the happenings of today.
Others would feel small at the thought of bringing about change; I feel grand, hopeful about the changes occurring, reshaping the landscape and the way we view the world.
As history has shown on countless occasions, the world is receptive to novelty in times of chaos.
In my current understanding, and in alignment with my forefathers, I will not shy away from such challenges.
History beckons me; I must answer accordingly.
