Hey! This is Jose Torres.

I’m a listener, writer, and I work on interesting projects. I have experience leading various projects with different teams, and I’m fascinated by studying and applying leadership practices.

One of such projects is starting this blog where I can share my writings with you. The inspiration came from reading Show your work by Austin Kleon. In the book, there’s a section titled “build a (good) domain” where he makes a really good, strong case for having your own space online, separate from social networks and where you have the ultimate freedom and flexibility. Austin said it best: “a blog is the ideal machine for turning flow into stock.”

Here is where I can share my work and ideas. Here is where I can share my struggles and accomplishments. Here is where I don’t have to make compromises.
