While driving on a road in my area with a speed limit of 25 miles per hour, I was slightly above the limit.
Most roads have just the speed limit sign, and that’s it.
Some have a visible speedometer below the speed limit sign that lets drivers know how fast they’re driving, and will flash repeatedly if you’re going above the limit.
But the sign on the road I was driving had no visible speedometer, but an emoji-like face, and it frowned at me when it recorded my speed being above the limit.
Feeling disappointed in myself, I slowed down and continued the rest of my drive below the speed limit.
I don’t know how effective this method is for others, but seeing an emotion changed my behavior.
