I graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2024 with an entrepreneurship degree from the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
Still residing in Northwest Arkansas.
Three things I’m focusing on:
- Writing and publishing daily in the mornings.
- Learning how to remain consistent.
- I’m starting a freelance writing business centered around content writing and copywriting. I’ve already registered a new domain and am setting up a new website to direct future clients.
- I’m also developing my copywriting— finding it fun and contrasting to my preferred writing style.
- Publishing weekly articles on Medium and LinkedIn.
- Working full-time at Walmart in the afternoons.
- A temporary job that helps pay the bills, but the benefits they’re giving me are pretty enticing.
- Still searching for better opportunities that align with my interests in writing and marketing.
- Working part-time at a digital marketing agency called Storyteller Wordsmith
- They read my first article on LinkedIn and asked me to join their band of copywriters and digital marketers.
- They know I’m just starting out, but they will let me experiment and learn as much as possible about writing and digital marketing—I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity.
What Am I Reading/Listening?
I discovered another cool YouTube channel called Pianza that posts long videos of somber piano music. Just playing one video in the background is enough to get me writing.
I’m still reading Building A StoryBrand 2.0 by Donald Miller. But I also started rereading Austin Kleon’s Show Your Work and Ryan Holiday’s Stillness is the Key. Both are good books that I found myself needing in my current circumstances.
