Cooking is a gem because we dictate what we want to consume. From the beginning, we’re given control of the ingredients and how we want to use them. Don’t like cilantro because of the taste? Don’t include it in your cooking.
A short video about making oatmeal was what made me realize how applicable this idea is to things outside cooking.
“As I began to cook, I would look at things that I historically didn’t like and try to figure out why. Then you can reverse engineer the things you don’t like about it, and build it back together the way that you do. And grow to love a thing that I used to hate.”
How nice would it be if we applied this to things we don’t like.
Here’s my inspiration for the day.
