The world goes round: accidents happen; mistakes pile up; failure stings; rejection becomes routine.
This is normal. In fact, I’d say it’s a good thing.
It means you’re doing something that hasn’t been done before.
And that could mean only two things: either it’s the obviously wrong path, or you’re on the verge of shaking the world to its core.
Only a madman would wager such an audacious bet.
But if life is short enough that nothing you do can stop the world from spinning, then why not place it?
If what you do could bring about change, then why not go the distance?
At worst, you return to obscurity, the same place you began.
At best, you leave a dent in the universe and push the human race forward.
There’s no downside to a bet that could change the world.
So go ahead and become what you said you would.
I give you permission to be unreasonable in a world that already is.
