Unintentional Wrongdoing

Sometimes, we do things right without knowing it.

Can the same be said when we do things wrong?

There are four categories of decision-making:

  • We knew we were right, so we did it.
  • We didn’t know we were right, but did it anyway.
  • We knew we were wrong, yet we still did it.
  • We didn’t know we were wrong, but did it anyway.

If we didn’t know any better and it ends up being wrong, how much fault should we be held accountable for? And to whom?

It’s an accident that brought about an unfortunate outcome. Yet, accountability should be taken in every case.

But it’s better to give such people the benefit of the doubt.
