Welcoming A Baby Girl Into The World

My 23-year-old cousin gave birth last night to a healthy baby girl.

I’m also 23, so we often had conversations about family and parenting in the months leading up to this joyous occasion.

She shared her concerns with me and was troubled by many things outside of her circumstances, simply wanting to give her daughter an environment she can properly grow up in.

But I’m certain that her anxieties disappeared the moment she held her baby for the first time, for nothing can be more impactful than holding what you created.

I’ve yet to see them. But I’ll be visiting in the next couple of days.

Congratulations, Abril.

You brought another hopeful child into this world.

Let us ensure her curiosity never goes away, that she’s bold in her pursuits, and that her story becomes grand.

Here’s my quote for the day.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before.
