What do you do when there’s a pole in the middle of your path while walking?
Will you go left? Or will you go right?
You can’t walk straight in the middle unless you want to hit face-first against the pole blocking your path.
At this point, you are forced to make a decision. It might not seem like it’s a big deal, but keep in mind you make decisions all the time throughout your day, even when your habits comprise nearly 40% of your day. A small decision now will affect a small decision tomorrow.
So what is going to be? Left or right?
Here’s a third solution: why not cut it down and walk over the pole? It’ll be time-consuming, pointless, and most likely illegal.
But it is a decision you made— a decision that not many would have acted upon.
Another decision would be walking away from the pole.
What will your decision be?
TAKEAWAY: You will always make a decision even if you don’t want to, so make it meaningful.
Here is my inspiration for the day.
