When You’re At Your Lowest Point

The one thing about being at your lowest point is about the only thought people in that situation would ever have:

“I never want to be here again.”

It’s metaphorically— and literally— impossible to go any lower than your lowest.

It’s cliché to say that the only other direction is to go up. But that’s because it’s true.

You can only go up from here.

So, now you’re left with two choices: either stay at your lowest point until you fade away, or slowly pull yourself up.

Neither choice is wrong.

But the best stories have always been about those who returned from the abyss. They lived to share life’s greatest challenges and pushed the human race forward.

When having to decide between those two choices, I’d choose the one that brings the most change.

Here’s my inspiration for the day.
